A common question we’ve gotten since opening ticket sales has been if the conference is geared more towards beginners or advanced WordPress users. We are actually planning on a few different tracks which include marketing and business-related topics, WordPress development topics, and a WordPress 101 track on Saturday with Joe Querin.
To make sure we are covering the topics you want to hear, please fill out the survey below if you are new to WordPress or are interested in attending our WordPress 101 sessions:
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us on Twitter or fill out the contact form.
Being new to WordPress , I have a lot to learn and I appreciate your list of the possible topics on your survey for the WP 101 Workshop. I just want to comment that I do think the WP 101 Workshop should be geared a bit higher than the absolute basics of getting a site up and running. (i.e. .com vs. .org, Installing WP, hosting, domains, dashboards, menus & the like.) The absolute basics of getting a site up & running are easily found in the web as tutorials. I have had more trouble finding tutorials that go beyond that, or have found a lot of conflicting/confusing information beyond setup. Just my thoughts.
