WordCamp Kent 2019 will be held June 15-16 at Kent State University Hotel & Conference Center. Tickets are only $40 and cover both days of sessions and networking and include a t-shirt, access to the after-party on Saturday night, coffee & snacks, lunch on Sunday, and some awesome swag.
We are expecting around 130 attendees, but sessions are broken down into three (3) classroom-style rooms where you can feel free to ask questions directly to the speakers. There is also a quiet area in the Conference Center if you would like space to retreat during the event.
We have speakers from a variety of backgrounds including bloggers/content writers, authors, web designers, developers, SEO experts, and entrepreneurs.
If you have a life-threatening allergy, please send an email to kent@wordcamp.org immediately so we can make arrangements.
Please Note: T-shirts are only guaranteed for tickets purchased prior to 11:59pm EST on Sunday, June 2, 2019. Shirt material may vary depending on availability for certain sizes. Attendee badges will be printed on June 8th, so if you register after that day, you will not be guaranteed a badge with your name printed on it. We will have Sharpies at the registration desk and blank badges.
Tickets are available until the day before the event, June 14th.
Tickets are refundable until two weeks before the event, June 1st.
Tickets purchased after June 2nd are not guaranteed to receive a t-shirt, regardless of size.
For community-building and promotional purposes, there will be volunteer and/or professional photographers and videographers at the WordCamp event. By registering for and attending the event, you consent to your image being used in resulting photos or videos that may show your participation in the WordCamp.
